After getting a tattoo , care is critical for proper healing. Keep the area clean by washing it with warm water and mild soap and apply a specific cream recommended by the tattoo artist. Cellophane bandaging can ’ be used as needed during healing days but depending on the area of the body, the extent of the tattoo and the season, the tattoo artist will know how to recommend the most appropriate method.
